I decided that I would be more serious this week.
This led to imagining a superhero called “Seriousman”. His power would be the ability to always be serious.
This is a terrible idea.
First, that’s a really lame power. I mean, when would this ever be useful?
I mean, I guess maybe if his archvillain’s power was the ability to kill anyone that is laughing. So “The Comedian”. Uh… henchmen called “Kneeslappers”. I think they’d have to be a bunch of short people which focus primarily on leg-based attacks. Weapon: slapstick (a giant stick that he can slap stuff with and apparently makes people laugh)
Ok, pretty sure someone’s already thought of something like this before.
Also that this is stupid.
Secondly, apparently there’s a movie coming out next year called “The Serious Man”. This would lead to copyright issues, probably. That or it’s based on this idea. Dude…
Also, people would get him confused with Siriusman, whose power would involve either dogs or radios. Or he would be a dog that transforms into a radio? Idk.
